RECONDITIONED  MK. 3C  FLIGHT HELMETS

HOW  WE  DO  IT

These 3C Flight  Helmets are totally reconditioned using all original replacement parts.

The MK.3C Flight Helmet  is completely stripped of all removable parts and components and the inner harness is cleaned, the helmet shell has the old reflective tape and velcro removed and all minor scratches are filled and repaired, the shell is then paint sprayed with two coats of High Etch Primer and two coats of  Matt Acrylic finish paint.

Reflective tape is added along with external components which include visor mounts and locking bracket along with neck and harness adjusters. The cork inner has a new cloth liner fitted and the helmet edge trim is reconditioned.  

A New leather faced replacement 4-piece padded lined is added, (this is the worst part!) this liner is then interlaced into the shell.  

The fully reconditioned avionics and wiring loom are then laced and bolted into the helmet and the chinstraps are fitted. 

The  36-piece visor system including New visors & visor cover is added 

 completing what is a very nice Flying Helmet and after all this we DO NOT end up with any screws spare!. All bench tested & working.
